Close-up of hands working with soil in a garden

It started with a bit of frustration (and a few eco friends)

We were keen amateur gardeners long before this was a business. We wanted to do things the right way - native planting, no chemicals, healthy soil - but every eco solution meant hours of research, conflicting advice and a fair bit of trial and error. It was a hassle. We figured if it was this much hassle for us, it was this much hassle for everyone. So we did the hard work - learning what genuinely helps, what actually thrives in a Hertfordshire garden, and what's just marketing - and built a business that hands you the result, without the headache.

We're not here for greenwashing.

Plenty of gardeners will tell you they're "eco". Too often that means a token wildflower patch and business as usual - petrol mowers, weedkiller, bagged peat. We think you deserve more than a label. For us, sustainable isn't a selling point bolted on the side. It's simply how we work, on every single job.

Proudly rooted in Hertfordshire

We're St Albans born and based, and we work right across the surrounding villages. That's not just a service area - it's why we know what thrives in this soil, which local pollinators to plant for, and how to make a Hertfordshire garden look its best in every season. Local gardens, looked after by local people who care how it's done.

Beautiful gardens. Clear conscience. No compromise.

That's the whole idea. If it's yours too, we'd love to help.
